Students develop scientific reasoning and investigative skills while exploring careers in forensic science. Instruction emphasizes NGSS Science and Engineering Practices, including developing and using models, planning and carrying out investigations, analyzing and interpreting data, constructing evidence-based explanations, and engaging in argument from evidence. Labs and the final practicum of a mock crime scene reinforce these skills, with all lab supplies provided for in-person learners.
